Balcairn Sporting Trials
Not for the faint hearted. A series of challenging tests over slopes and difficult terrain. Check out the regs for more information. Great spectator event.
Awards Luncheon
An Annual social event to present our Trophies for the year and also our special Commemorative Awards. Lunch is held in a private room at the Tai Tapu Hotel.
Brooklands Race Meeting
Hosted by Classic Motor Racing Club at Levels Raceway. VCC and Reliability classes are offered.
Hadstock Field Tests
A fun day out with field tests held on a grass paddock. Entry is free.

Pomeroy Trophy
The “Pomeroy Trophy or our Branch equivalent held at Ruapuna, gives members a chance to have a day on the racetrack at their own pace, incorporating a set of complex rules that seeks to find the 'ideal' touring vehicle. Based on its English creator Laurence Pomeroy back in the '30s, his formula pitches Maserati against Mini, Morgan against Morris, and everything in between. Josephville Hill Climb, Lumsden
A Gore Branch event. A weekend of hill climbs with Coronet Peak Hill Climb the day before.

Wigram Revival Race Meeting
Wigram Revival Race Meeting is 21-23 November at Euromarque Motorsport Park (Ruapuna). We have 17 entries to date including a Jaguar C Type, Daimler Special, Mallock U2, Edelbrock Special, Holden Special, Shadetree Mk 2, Spangeralli, and a Mistral amongst others. Tickets are $20 for spectators and for sale at the Gate. Supporters are very welcome in the pits so do come along and join in.
Monte Carlo Rally
The Rally is intended to capture the spirit of the original European event by providing a full day of competitive touring followed by an evening function and awards ceremony.
Starting at various locations around the South Island, you will drive to Duvauchelle, near Akaroa, collecting points along the way for passing through as many locations as you can within the time allowed.
UPDATE: Monte Carlo Rally is this Saturday 15th and finishes at Duvauchelle Showgrounds. With an outstanding field of vehicles ranging from 1918 to 1995 it would be well worth trip over the hill to watch the final stages. Plenty of parking is available but please be at the showgrounds before 1.30pm (Tired competitors arrive from 2pm and might be a little less than courteous if they are held up at the entrance!). Challenging field tests along with judging of the Concour de Confort (best equipped and provisioned car) will be held between 2-4pm and promises an excellent afternoons entertainment.
Gebbies Pass / Little River Hillclimbs
Gebbies Pass Hillclimb only is now going ahead. VCC Class at Little River has been cancelled.

To welcome in Spring - A day of driving to and from an interesting destination, perfect for a picnic lunch.
Brooklands Race Meeting - Levels Raceway
VCC Class run in conjunction with other Classic Car Classes. Hosted by the Classic Motor Racing Club at Levels Raceway, Timaru. Pre 1965 Saloon, Sports and Single-Seater cars are all eligible. A great days racing at a picturesque country track! Spectator entry is Free. The Entry Form is available on our Forms page.

Daffodil Day
BP Branch put our support behind Canterbury Branch for this worthy cause. Five starting points that converge at Cutler Park, McLeans Island at midday. Choose your start point and enjoy a short or long run. Afternoon Public Display with BBQ Lunch and Coffee available to purchase. $10 Vehicle Entry.

Balcairn Trials
The Balcairn Annual Event is a challenging Trials event. It attracts competitors from all over the South Island who compete in their weird and wonderful Pre 1960 Trials vehicles and endeavour to conquer the 'torturous' tests. A hilarious and dirty fun day for all the family.
Night Trial
NIGHT TRIALS for those who wish to have their navigational and driving skills tested with a light-hearted romp around the local countryside finishing at a reputable hostelry. Of course, ambiguous instructions and devious clues that have to be found or followed are all part of the fun!

This year kindly hosted by Allan Familton with a steam theme, Geoff Edwards with a European Classic collection and Auto Restorations as the final destination.
