Run over a section of Kinloch Rd. Hosted by Ratec Club with a VCC class offered. Make a weekend of it. Accommodation at the Little River Camping Ground.
A highlight of the Calendar, run by the Country Gentlemens Historic Racing & Sports Car Club. Using an old section of State Highway 1 near Cheviot, competitors wind their way up a timed 2.5km course. Another great day for spectators.

Friday is testing and documentation with racing on Saturday and Sunday.
Coronet Peak Hillclimb, Queenstown (in conjunction with the Queenstown Car Club). This is a doubleheader weekend, and we're hoping that all those who register for Coronet Peak on Saturday will also join us for Josephville on Sunday
Held at the Little River Domain. Open to all club eligible vehicles. Gold coin donation to support the local Fire Brigade. BYO picnic, chair and rug. Band plays over the lunch hour with a lolly scramble for the children. A great day for the whole family.
Open to all Club Eligible Cars. This is not a speed event but consists of 5 tests to determine the capability of the driver. The vehicle must be able to carry two regular suitcases.
Test 1 - Standing ¼ mile
Test 2 - Flying ¼ mile
Test 3 - Wiggle Woggle
Test 4 - Braking across a line
Test 5 - Reliability Trial (20 mins duration)
The event ends with a road section to a venue for presentation of prizes.
Other Club Events
The Mt Cook Rally is a key rally on the South Canterbury Branch calendar, held on South Canterbury Weekend in late September, for which the branch has run since 1956. The run takes participants to Twizel on the Saturday – venturing either via the Mackenzie District or Waitaki Valley – and Mt Cook on the Sunday.
On the third sunday of the month we invite all members and any interested members of the public to join us at Cutler Park from 9am-12pm for coffee and a catch-up. Turn up in your club eligible vehicle and meet other club members - if enough interest is shown we might head out for a run. Partners and children encourage to join in but please no dogs.

Hosted by Classic Motor Racing Club at Levels Raceway. VCC and Reliability classes are offered.
The VCC Canterbury Branch extend an open invitation to all Banks Peninsula Branch members to join with them to take part in this year’s National Event – the Daffodil Rally for Cancer
An Annual social event to present our Trophies for the year and also our special Commemorative Awards. Lunch is held in a private room at the Tai Tapu Hotel.
Current and potential scrutineers for VCC speed and other events requiring a car check (e.g. Balcairn, Hadstock etc), are warmly invited to join us for this training/refresher course
Not for the faint hearted. A series of challenging tests over slopes and difficult terrain. Check out the regs for more information. Great spectator event.
A light hearted and fun navigation style event with tricky clues and tests of intelligence.
Committee Members and Officers of the Branch are elected. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.
A light supper is provided.
