Current and potential scrutineers for VCC speed and other events requiring a car check  (e.g. Balcairn, Hadstock etc), are warmly invited to join us for this training/refresher course at Auto Restorations, 10 Kennedy Place, Christchurch at 7pm on Thursday 23rd July 2026. (Finish 9pm). Michael Pidgeon will cover essential requirements for vehicle checks and scrutineer responsibilities, and everyone will be welcome to check and inspect vehicles on display. A VCC scrutineer checklist and other information will be provided, and we recommend that you bring a pad and pen to take additional notes.

After satisfactory supervision alongside a current VCC approved Scrutineer at one event requiring VCC cars to be scrutineered, participants at this training will receive their VCC Scrutineer accreditation to wear at VCC events requiring vehicle scrutineering. These training and recognition requirements have been approved by VCC Speed Steward Ray Sanders.
