Balcairn Trials
This event follows the style of ‘Trials’ events which were very popular in the UK in the 1950s where drivers and their crews endeavour to get their cars as far as possible up steep and slippery farm tracks and through other difficult courses. A number of these courses will be set out and points are awarded for the distance attained. The cumulative score at the end of the event will determine the winners of the various classes. The venue is at Flemings Farm, Balcairn. The event will conclude with an after match noggin and awarding of trophies at the Anglers Arms Hotel in Sefton.
